It sure seems like a strange world out there, with the challenges appearing to escalate every day. Past-due bills. Housing values going down. Job frustrations. What do you do about…
To manifest your vision, look for opportunities to nurture it. See it as already complete in your mind’s eye. Its particularly effective to visualize this upon arising in the morning and as you prepare to sleep. Getting more and more consistent in keeping your word to yourself about what you will do is a key to manifesting your intentions. When you trust yourself, your world will tend to help you to create more effectively.
I suggest that you consider getting into the daily habit of taking one of the ideas in the CD or in one of my books and playing with it via the heart.
You also might consider gradually adding new spiritual practices to your life: You might start with an uplifting thought to begin the day, and a brief idea to meditate upon before sleep.
As soon as you commit to a new habit, the Universe will tend to test you: How serious are you about being consistent with a new, positive habit? Ego may throw a little hissy fit, coming up with apparently rational justifications for dropping your intentions.
Another possible ego manifestation: Taking on too much, then feeling overwhelmed, then ditching the whole set of habits you had intended to create for yourself.
When feeling stressed or overwhelmed, I suggest using these simple tools:
Do a minute of deep breathing. *
Do a minute of the cross crawl. * See the video half-way down the page at http://www.happinesspages.com/brain-gym-exercises.html#cross-crawl You can touch hand to knee or, if you can handle it, elbow to knee. This is great for times when you feel spacey or distracted.
Get plenty of water. How much? Divide your weight in half. The number you get is the minimum number of ounces of water per day to drink if you want to be properly hydrated. If you are very physically active, you will want to drink more than that.
Another great and quick exercise for mental clarity and focus: Balancing the brain cortices. See the video (click on the blue icon--second shown video) at http://www.bodytalksystem.com/videos/category.cfm?id=4 Its about 12 minutes. I encourage you to experiment with doing it at least three times daily for a week and notice any changes in your clarity, groundedness and alertness.
* When starting any new exercise, be aware of what your body is telling you. If you have any physical challenges or are taking prescription medication, check with your doctor before doing these exercises. For a description of the cross crawl, search "brain gym."
“I admire your work very much. I could almost have written it myself, in the sense that it is well in line with my own spiritual development and achievements. It is a book for those who wish to know how to prepare for Ascension".
