The Wake Up Book, Questions and Comments

Written by Carlo Ami

Please submit your questions and comments about the book here.  We love your feedback!  This section will also include FAQ about the book and will be edited to give you the most powerful information.

The intent of the book is to assist you in your Spiritual Empowerment.  There is no one best way to use the book.  Our brains are wired in different ways.   Some people will do just fine with the E-book version of The Wake Up Book.  Most will get the greatest benefit by using the hard copy and making the edits and notes that can be reviewed over time.

I suggest that you practice consulting your heart and then quieting the mind as you go about the exploration of the book and of your inner Self.

FAQ and Tips About All That Matters

Written by Carlo Ami

How many of the ideas in the main part of the book are best to work with in a given day? I suggest that you work with just one pausing idea per day, starting as soon as it fits after you get out of bed.  Play with it.  If you want to edit it at the end of the day, take the new idea into the next day.  You may find that you are moved to edit it on the first reading.  In this case, take the edited idea with you through your day.  If you want to change it again, then take the newly edited idea into another day before moving on to any more of the pausing ideas.

I completely disagree with one of the ideas.  What should I do? Own your belief.  This book is a tool for self-discovery.  As you modify  your beliefs, you will find that the Universe will help you to either confirm or again modify the belief.  You will be given situations and experiences to help you unfold the depth of your true and loving self.  This can take time.  Be patient with yourself.

I do not like to write in books.  Does it work to have a separate notebook where I write out my edited beliefs? Sure.  Do what works for you.  It may be helpful to write out the belief as shown in the book before editing, and then to write down any subsequent editing you make.  Some people like to erase the old belief, while others cross the old one out before writing the new one.  Let yourself be guided by your inner Wisdom.

How often should I work with the book? I have found in talking with many readers that setting up a regular schedule of use works best.  This is what has worked for me, too.  If you want to make it Monday through Friday, or six days per week, I suggest that you do it in a way that you can be consistent with it.  Don’t commit to seven days per week unless you intend to honor that commitment.  Make it a challenge, but make it realistic given your responsibilities.

Reader Feedback and Questions about the Books

Overview of My Intent for Sharing These Books With The Targeted Audience to Serve

All That Matters is for people who are relatively new to conscious spirituality.  It is more of an overview of ideas with a lot of quotations from masters and leaders, an introduction to the realms of higher consciousness.
It is also an excellent teaching or group tool.  The pages can be grouped into sections for periodic discussion.  For negatively conditioned folks, these words can seem like a foriegn language, so some guidance is helpful.  Teachers can lead groups, answer questions that come up.

The Wake Up Book is for those who have some experience with spirituality and consciousness, but who also recognize that there is significant self-reconditioning in front of them on the path to ascension.  The heart of the book is a set 142 Pause Sessions that are read and contemplated at a rate of just one per day.  So if the book is used as suggested, given the other material in the book, it will take the reader more than 5 months to move through the book.

The Shifting Process is for people who are on the cusp of ascension and see the value in a set of tools designed to help them get inspired to take the leap.  It is a 9 week structured program that can be shortened by some if certain body/bliss cues are recognized in the middle of the first two 3-week segments. See the book introduction page for more clues on whether you are ready for this book.

“I admire your work very much. I could almost have written it myself, in the sense that it is well in line with my own spiritual development and achievements. It is a book for those who wish to know how to prepare for Ascension". --Michael Quinsey ...
